Personal branding is hard.
I’ve worked for 10 years building global brands, and when it came time to write my own story and build my personal brand, I totally choked.
I spent hours writing and not posting. Polishing posts just to abandon them. I’ve had success in my career, and yet, I couldn’t get any momentum with my personal brand. Sound familiar?
I tried getting templates. Posting once a week no matter what. Coaches, programs, you name it. But I never felt like it was worth it.
So I gave up. Kept working my actual job.
And then my husband got a promotion to a business development role and started traveling to conferences to network.
I couldn’t resist. I started helping him build an online presence. Partially because I love him and want him to succeed, and partially because I was annoyed I had to solo-parent so often when he could maximize his networking online.
I knew firsthand that any extra time he spent on personal branding would be time away from our family, so I created a system that requires no more than 15 minutes of his time a week.
I sold the system to his company and now manage the personal brands of their entire executive team.
Then I realized, if I could build this system that works for others, I could build a system that works for my personal brand too.
So here I am with 10x the LinkedIn presence, offering personal branding help to founders, consultants and solopreneurs.
